Preparing your document |
Textcheck should be the last step in preparing your document, except formatting. You should not send us your document until you have completed the final version of the text. (If possible, we prefer Times New Roman font, double spaced, but this is not essential.) Please note that you should DELETE all author details (names, addresses, etc.,) before uploading your document. We usually do not need figures - just copy the captions and any text used in the figures and paste them into the end of your document. If you think that the figures are essential for reference, then they can be uploaded immediately after the main document; they can be sent in any format that can be viewed in Chrome/Explorer/Firefox, such as jpeg or tiff, or as PDF, Excel, or Powerpoint files. Figures uploaded separately after the main document will be considered to be FOR REFERENCE ONLY; they will not be checked and will not be included in the document wordcount. If the figures included in your document are complex or include text that cannot be easily edited, then please copy the text and place it below the figures or at the end of the document so that we can revise the text if necessary. Final formatting should be after Textcheck and before sending the document to the journal. We STRONGLY recommend that you make NO changes to the text after Textcheck. |
